Every contribution counts
Donate
Your contribution is spent on projects that the board has approved in advance, and you can always find the spending in our annual documents.

How to donate
We raise money per project. Only when the board has approved a new project do we open the fundraising, with its own target amount. That way you always know where your gift goes. The next project starts after the summer of 2027, in the autumn. The account number will then be shown here and you can donate directly, by ordinary bank transfer.
Would you like to let us know now that you want to take part, or do you have a question about a gift for a specific project? Email us at info@stichtinghartvoorafrika.nl and we will keep you informed.
Companies support us too: Slaapluxe gives 5% of the turnover of every order to our projects.
We only raise money for an approved project. The next project starts in the autumn of 2027; the account number will be shown here then.
Purpose
Where can your gift go?
Food projects
Food parcels for families and support for local farming, bought at local markets.
Water projects
Water wells for villages around Kampala, each well with prior research and its own target amount.
Education
School supplies and better places to learn for children.
Health & social support
Aids, dental care, medical check-ups and support for people who have no one to fall back on.
General gift
If you state nothing, we use your gift where it is needed most at that moment, always within an approved project.

Honest about costs
Honest about costs
For project trips we make a cost estimate in advance. Travel and accommodation costs, such as flights and local transport, go through a separate expenses fund with its own target amount. The founder can advance these costs and makes up the difference if the target amount is not reached. That way project donations remain available for the projects themselves.
You can read all about this in the frequently asked questions and on the transparency page. Not sure whether a small charity can be trusted? Read what to look for.
