Our approach
Practical projects, carried out with local partners
Since 2022 we have worked as a small charity in Uganda with The Uganda Muslim Supreme Council in Kampala. Our projects start with what a village really needs, not with an idea from the Netherlands. Together we prepare each project, carry it out on site and account for it publicly afterwards.

Where we work
In villages and communities in the Kampala region, Uganda.
What we work on
Clean water, food, education, health and hygiene, social support and self-reliance.
How we choose
What the community needs decides the project. The board reviews every proposal and approves it before the work starts.
Why local
Partners on the ground know the community, the language and the circumstances. That makes aid effective and dignified.
Our impact
Results from our project reports
All figures come straight from our project reports and the annual accounts; we do not add estimates.
Our field of work
What do we work on?
Six themes, one goal: a lasting improvement in living conditions.
Water
Clean drinking water close to home. We prepare water well projects with careful research in advance and fund them per well, together with our local partner.

How we work
How does a project come about?
From first signal to final report: every project goes through the same six steps.
- 1Establish the need
Our partner in Kampala signals where help is really needed.
- 2Examine the project proposal
We test feasibility, costs and local support on site.
- 3Approval by the board
Every project is assessed and approved in advance.
- 4Raise funds
We raise funds per project, with a clear target amount.
- 5Carry out with local partners
We do the work together with people who know the community.
- 6Checks and reporting
We check results on site and account for them publicly.

Openness about our work
Transparent, from plan to accountability
Trust is earned with openness. That is why we publish our annual reports, annual accounts and articles of association, and account for the spending per project.
Every contribution counts
Support our work
Every donation is spent on projects that the board has approved in advance. We account for the spending publicly in our annual reports and annual accounts.
We raise money per project. The next project starts in the autumn of 2027; you can donate here again then.

Good to know: for project trips we make a cost estimate in advance. Travel and accommodation costs go through a separate expenses fund with its own target amount, so that project donations go to the projects themselves. Read more in the FAQ.
