Openness about our work

Transparency

A trustworthy charity shows where your money goes. That is why you will find all our annual reports, annual accounts and articles of association here, and read how we keep travel costs separate from project money.

2024

2024 in brief

Project Jinja and on-site check

A one-off collaboration with a local organisation in Jinja: a production line for nutritious porridge, a plot of land with storage space and a two-day children’s festival for about one hundred children. The 2023 water well proves to be in use every day.

2023

2023 in brief

Founding and the Muchanga water well

The foundation is set up (28 July 2023). Muchanga gets a water well that gives more than 3,000 people clean drinking water; in the autumn wheelchairs and nutritious porridge for children follow, through the regular partner.

Public annual documents

For every financial year since 2023 there is an annual report and annual accounts on this page.

Registered with the Chamber of Commerce

Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 90967399, RSIN 865512188. All official details are on the accountability page.

Unpaid board

Board members receive no pay for their work and the foundation has no staff.

Costs kept separate

Travel and accommodation costs are paid from a separate expenses fund, so project money stays with the projects. Read how that works.

Results you can see

Every project has its own page with photos. The water well in Muchanga was checked on site in 2024 and is in daily use.

Honest about costs

How we deal with travel and other expenses

Project donations should end up with projects. That is why we keep project money and travel costs strictly separate:

  • For every project trip we make a cost estimate in advance.
  • Travel and project expenses, such as flights, accommodation and local transport, go through a separate expenses fund with its own target amount.
  • The founder can advance these costs. If the target amount is not reached in time, the founder makes up the difference or it is settled.
  • We never present expenses as a project result; they are shown separately in the annual accounts.
