Background
After the water well, a remainder was left from the collections and later cash gifts. Through the local partner organisation, children came into view who urgently needed a wheelchair or extra nutrition.
Goal
To make children with a disability more mobile with a made-to-measure wheelchair, and to provide malnourished children with nutritious porridge for three months.
Execution
In the autumn of 2023, through the local partner organisation, two wheelchairs were paid for, made to measure in Kampala, and twelve children received nutritious porridge for three months.
Result
Two children received a made-to-measure wheelchair and twelve children received three months of nutritious porridge. A later gift also made care possible for a third child with a disability. The account is in the annual report 2023.
